Help-Portrait is a international movement of photographers coming together to use their photography skills to give back to their local community. The idea behind Help-Portrait is: 1. Find someone in need 2. Take their portrait 3. Print their portrait and 4. Deliver their portrait. More than 585 groups are planning events in 57 countries and 49 states. The local event organized by CAPIC included 36 photographers on location at two community centers on the east and west ends of the city. The photographers, artists, hair and makeup artists and assistants volunteered their time to make this year a success. Go to www.help-portrait.com for more info.
